Following a working visit by the President of the Republic of Indonesia on June 30, 2020, to the PT Kawasan Industri Terpadu Batang site, a Tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between PT Pembangunan Perumahan (Persero) Tbk, PT Kawasan Industri Wijayakusuma (Persero), and PT Perkebunan Nusantara IX as a subsidiary of PT Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero). The MoU bears the numbers 1/MOU/KIW/06/2020, MOU/10/9.8SM/2020, and 271/EXT/PP/DU/2020 and concerns the Development of the PT Kawasan Industri Terpadu Batang. This MoU signifies the commitment of each company to the President of the Republic of Indonesia to build and manage the PT Kawasan Industri Terpadu Batang. A consortium agreement has also been signed between PT Pembangunan Perumahan (Persero) Tbk, PT Perkebunan Nusantara IX, PT Kawasan Industri Wijayakusuma (Persero), and Perusahaan Daerah Aneka Usaha (Perumda Aneka Usaha) Batang in Batang Regency regarding the Development of the PT Kawasan Industri Terpadu Batang. The consortium agreement bears the numbers PT PP: 318/EXT/PP/PO/2020, PTPN IX: SPK/021/9.8SM/2020, PT KIW: 7/Perj/KIW/7/2020, and PDAU: 539/PDAU/112/VII/2020. The consortium comprises PT Property Pembangunan (Property) Tbk, PT Kawasan Industri Wijayakusuma (Persero), PT Perkebunan Nusantara IX, and Perumda Aneka Usaha Batang Regency.
